As a child i was brought up in a musically linked environment, family full of singers and talent.
during my childhood i was in two bands, one the Band of the local primary school (Whangarei) and the other, in which we travelled to various places such as taupo, kaitaia and rotorua- called Wards Music Little Band. I was in kapa Haka for the majority of my life, so i am no stranger of the stage. I later joined the local choir (kamo High School) and had won best nz song and choreography two years running... called the BIG SING
