I have been singing for 15 years.
My singing career began at the age of 13, singing in the country music scene, winning competitions in both the north and South Island. I was a finalist in the NZ entertainer of the year 3 times; twice as a soloist and once as a song-writer.
In 2002, I began to study classical and musical theatre under Patrick Power in Napier, before moving to Wellington to complete a Bmus in classical performance under Flora Edwards.
During my time in Wellington, I have undertaken roles including 'Susanna' (Marriage of Figaro) and sung demanding pieces including all three parts from Mozart's 'exsultate jubilate', soprano songs from Handels 'Messiah' and numerous French, Italian, Spanish and German arias.
Currently, I teach music, perform in a pop/rock covers band, record vocals for numerous song writers and get involved in singing where I can!
