From 1989 to 1995 I had a variety of paid roles including:
Graziano, in Arnold Wesker's The Merchant - Edinburgh Festival
Understudy/Swing, Equus - Edinburgh Festival
I also ran and directed a range of plays and parts of plays for a TIE company in Manchester (Incompany Theatre) during this time, which at times included me acting in secondary roles.

Previous featured extras roles

I was a regular extra in a variety of different roles, primarily with Granada TV, but also with Channel 4 and a couple of independent film companies in the early 90s where I was signed to agent Nigel Martin Smith. Amongst a myriad of roles over about five years, I worked for a year as an on-off regular extra on Corrie; had a speaking role with Tom Baker in an episode of Medics; was a featured "photographer" for a wedding scene in Families (a now long defunct soap); was directed in a scene in The Virgin Goddess by Danny Boyle; spent more than an hour following Tom Bell along a corridor in the first episode of Prime Suspect; and was killed and then trampled by a horse in a Dickens thriller (shot in the passageways within the Town Hall in Manchester).
