Previous unpaid speaking roles
I was always been heavily involved in the performing arts department in school, but as of late I have been involved in the local theatre's. Most recently I had a supportive role in 16th Ave Theatres, Byron Bay, where I played Colonel Texas Jones. This role brought a lot of challenges, speaking with a Texan accent which I learnt for the role, also growing facial hair to add to the character, to name a few. Prior to Byron Bay, I was cast in Tauranga Musical Theatres, Back to the 80's where I was given the role as the Class Geek, Feargal Bobby McFerrin the third, for this character I was required to speak with and american accent with a "geeky" dialect. Prior to that I was cast in Tauranga Musical Theatres, Curse of the Pearl Necklace, I which I had the role of Scribe, which was a completely non-speaking role, with a fair bit of stage time, for this I had to learn to be very expressive via my body language and facial expressions. Prior to this show, I was cast in Tauranga Musical Theatres, Chicago, as part of the Company, with small speaking parts. and as I said before, I have always been involved in the performing arts department in school, through this I have had many different roles as well as dabbling in Improv Theatre.
