We are a Media Production company with a twist - we aim to transform lives through the medium of film.

Our main objectives are to highlight reality and the issues that people from disadvantaged backgrounds face on a daily basis. We offer an alternative solution through the creation/production of film.

We offer “acting workshops” and create high quality video content that young people can be involved, claim ownership and be proud of.

We are currently working on mini films that will lead to a feature film. Hard to leave is an urban film that will supported by the mini films. The mini films will showcase the beginnings of the characters story.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

Filming will start from February to March; Weekends must be available and maybe weekdays (dates will be confirmed in advanced) - If successful before the 1st of February, there is a massive meeting with the whole team (production crew and actors) on the day; this is MANDATORY.

Job payment

This job is unpaid - We offer experience for individuals and shadowing industry professionals. Food will be provided on set.

1st AC (first assistant camera)

This is a great way for an individual who is looking to get into the industry to start their career in the camera depaartment. First assistant camera (1st AC) is a member of a film crew's camera department whose primary responsibility is to maintain image sharpness on whatever subject or action is being filmed.

Anyone, aged 18 and over

  • Camera Crew ability: Beginner, Intermediate

2nd AC (second assistant camera)

This is a great way for any individual who wants to get into the camera department. Second assistant camera (2nd AC) is part of a film crew whose main functions are that of loading the raw film stock into camera, operating the clapperboard (slate) at the beginning of each take, marking the actors as necessary, and maintaining all records and paperwork for the camera department.

Junior Gaffer

This is great for an individual who wants to learn about lighting and wants to better their portfolio. The gaffer or lighting technician is responsible for the execution (and sometimes the design) of the lighting plan for a production.

This role is especially for an individual that wants to learn how to operate a Blackmagic camera and aspires to work towards the role of a DOP. A camera operator is someone who records images that entertain or inform an audience.

Runner

For those who want experience film production and develop into part of production, this would be a perfect opportunity. On-set duties may include: acting as a courier, helping to keep the set clean and tidy and distributing call sheets, health and safety notices and other paperwork. On location shoots production Runners may also be required to help to coordinate the extras, and to assist with crowd control duties.
