This story explores one of the many infinite things that cats could possibly think about.

In this case, a cat has the ability to influence people, like a ghost, a demon. The Muslims call these entities Jinns.

Sitting on a porch, as cats do, this cat sends his consciousness to haunt some Chinese drug dealers and wreck havoc on the bosses evening.

This is essentially a dark comedy, although it consists of action. It's an independent short that will be screened at this years short film festivals.

My experience has been two shorts written and directed by me. I am also currently working as a screenwriter for another production company on the side.

All I need is a team of Chinese men to be drug dealers. Like in some Hong Kong movies, it is required that you possess a level of humor.

There is action, but it isn't much. Just blood squibs attached to you for the bullet fx.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

The production process will be scheduled July - August.

Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity - Independent short.

Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.

UPDATE: Must be able to speak some Cantonese. (I am not Chinese, but it is required of the characters.)

Successful dealer and a cocaine addict. He's the cocaine connoisseur and no one should ever test his judgement. He's enthusiastic about it all and loves digging in to new batches of cocaine.
