However, the heartless "caretaker" Matt stands in the way.

The film contains no dialogue.

The film will be approximately four minutes long.

It will be a shoot of 1 day (maximum working hours will be 10 hours and 45 minutes including breaks).

Shooting will take place in one location within or not far from Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

My name is William Jack Thaxter. I have been making movies throughout the majority of my life, and produced two short films last year which both received a Band 6 and state rankings in the HSC. One of which was also a finalist for Best Young Filmmaker at the Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles.

I am now in my first year studying at the Victorian College of the Arts in Film & Television in Melbourne.

The film will be completed by Wednesday 4th of November and will be submitted to film festivals internationally.

This shoot will be produced under covid restrictions and made covid safely.

Nevertheless, Bill is crafty, intelligent and determined to escape (though that determination may come from desperation). His face is emotive and conveys his desperation without dialogue. Looking for someone with the appearance of being or between 70 - 80 years old (the older you appear the more preferable). PREFERABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED: ability to solder.

Anyone, aged 65 to 80

Female or male supporting role to play Matt

A supporting character wearing full PPE protection gear. The character is of youthful appearance but is tired and holds a distaste for his job in the nursery home. Despite his duty of care towards Bill, the character is not only uncaring, but also heartless and considers Bill almost sub-human.
