MUA wanted for an independent film directed by a London-based writer. It is a drama-noir about a young metal scavenger and a middle-aged socialite trapped in the idyllic Victorian wilderness.
We are looking for an artist to manage the make-up and hair concepts for two female and two male characters, more specifically, evening, ageing, and SFX make-up and hair. The hair will be quite simple - greasy, outdoorsy hair for two actors, and straightened evening hair for another actor. Further clarification provided once we agree to work together.
The film will be shot over 5 days in a forest near Gisborne, and in an indoors location, likely to be a community hall in Eltham.
The director is planning on releasing the film as part of a larger installation in galleries and exhibitions spaces across Melbourne, London and Amsterdam.
It is a low-budget production made up of local and international creatives, contributing their talent without compensation. However, it is still a great opportunity to draw attention to your name/ brand.
Let me know if this opportunity could be of interest to you, and we could share the look books and script with you.
