Male Actors Required For a Queer Bollywood-Themed Stage Show

New South Wales, Australia
Listed by View details

Trikone Australia is staging a queer Bollywood-themed show in Sydney on Saturday 12 December. And we're looking for male actors to fill a couple of lead roles.

Previous acting experience is highly desirable but not a pre-requisite. Familiarity with South-Asian culture and South-Asian appearance is also preferred, but not mandatory.

Weekly rehearsals will begin in early November.

This is not a paid gig, but if you’re looking for a role that’ll challenge you as an actor, then this is a fantastic opportunity. And you’ll not only get to work with an experienced team of creatives, but also be part of a very fun, collaborative event.

ABOUT TRIKONE: Trikone Australia is a Sydney-based community organisation that provides social support and a safe, nurturing environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, intersex and queer (GLBTIQ+) people of South Asian origin living in Australia. It has previously produced sell-out shows such as "In The Space Between" (2011, Cleveland Street Theatre) and "The Last Chai" (2013, Sidetrack Theatre), and it is the organiser of annual queer Bollywood dance party Bar Bombay in Sydney.
