We need a trans male as our lead character ERIC, who is preparing for a showcase performance. He meets ZOE, who enlists his help to teach her en pointe work after she catches him practicing in them. They come together through mutual rejection of gender norms and end up dancing a pas de deux together, although not in a style anyone expects.

Eric - trans male ballerino
Eric is quiet and reserved. He feels like he has something to prove and struggles internally with how to do it. He comes alive through en pointe dancing but doesn’t want to draw attention by performing it publicly, instead preferring to fulfil strictly traditionally male dance roles, but feels he must do it perfectly for it to be valid.
