Cast Needed for a Powerful Short Drama Strong Emotional Range Required

Over The Edge films are looking to cast 4 powerful actors for a project about LGBT within the Indian/Pakistani communities .

This project has had tremendous support from UK based communities and charities and we are keen to get actors together who are committed to this project.

Actors should have a good emotional range and honesty in there performances and be able to pick up pages of strong dialogue quickly.

This Project is based around a true story! So its vital we ( Cast and Crew) do this project justice.

Synopsis:
Story centres around Alisha, a second generation British girl of Pakistani-origin from a religious and conservative
Muslim family. Raised as a ‘good Muslim’ girl, she has battled with an internal conflict of being lesbian . Alisha has fallen in love with Ranu, a British-Asian Hindu girl of Indian-origin.

Please note, Ranu and Alisha engage in a passionate kiss which ultimately leads to the discovery of Alisha being gay.

Alisha is seen by a relative, From then on, she faces aggressive inquisition from her immediate family and is given an ultimatum.
