The opening of an art exhibition turns into a media circus as installations come to life and the announcement of an international doll revolution changes the public perception of Barbie forever, leading all present into a spiegel im spiegel test of reality.
Ruth Handler (Barbie's mother & creator of Mattel Toys), 40s, uses her insight and creativity to bring social change through dolls in the late 1950s, with a message for very young girls that 'women have choices.'
