The Gifted is for looking for sessional staff to support the delivery of a
range of projects in schools, community settings and on a detached
basis.

Major Responsibilities:
? To support the delivery of projects delivered by The Gifted,
? Deliver a range of projects in a variety of settings
? To ensure that all monitoring, evaluation and reporting is
completed with support from the Manager
? Work with local partners to recruit young people to take part in
the projects delivered by The Gifted
? Prepare session plans and resources necessary to deliver the
projects
? Work with other members of the team and attend staff meetings
? Keep written and statistical records of work undertaken and
provide regular reports as required by the Manager
? Attend supervision with the Manager to assess progress and
inform support and training required.

? Undertake such duties not included in the job description as are
reasonably requested by the postholder’s Line Manager.

Person Specification
Essential
? Ability to build constructive relationships with young people in
groups and on an individual basis
? Ability to work as part of a team
? Effective communication skills
? A can do attitude and lots of initiative
? Knowledge of issues that affect young people, particularly
health issues affecting young people including drug and alcohol
use, sexual health issues and mental health issues
? Experience of working with marginalised/’hard to reach’ young
people
? Experience of planning and developing programmes of work
with young people
? Ability to monitor and evaluate a wide range of interventions
with young people
? Knowledge of child protection procedures
? Knowledge of anti discriminatory practice
? Proficient in using IT including email and Microsoft Word
Desirable
? Experience of multi-agency working.

£12 per hour
