The deceased wife of the poet, Alexandra Woolf, seeps into the poet's mind as a hallucination where she becomes imprisoned in the madness that consumes him.
The poet must delve deep within by revisiting life through the stanza's of his final poem, thus facing his inner demons, and parting with the things he loves the most.
It's a tale of love & loss... A fable about the puzzlement of the mind and the poetic irony of the heart.
The film has been in pre-production for over a year and has been recently shot with a professional crew.
Currently, the film is in post-production and the inclusion of voice-over has been provoked by the writer & director during this stage.
It's a short drama that will be around 15 minutes long.
The film will be screened in national (UK) and international film festivals.
Despite Alexandra being a hallucinatory presence, the story she tells is real and human. She is the voice of emotion, philosophy and insight into the human condition. Alexandra's voice is soft-spoken and elegant. Her voice is as ethereal as her presence; a quiet beauty that is delicate yet powerful. References - Opening scenes of: 1.
