Witness is a TV crime drama set entirely within an interrogation room. A team of detectives follow the investigation from a conversation with an innocent bystander to a meeting with the killer.

The show will be produced by a crew of third year film and TV students at The University of York. There will be a screening of the project at the Holbeck Cinema on campus. We are also planning to show the film at the Luma Film Festival.

We will shoot three episodes over 3 days. Each episode is 25 minutes long. The shoot will take place between the 14th-18th of March.

Roles:
-2 detectives
-1 police officer
-9 witnesses
-1 lawyers (supporting artist)
-Murder victim (supporting artist)

This is a unique opportunity because you will get to experience shooting live drama in a TV studio! It is also a great chance to expand your acting abilities by working with others to create a dramatic and engaging story within the four walls of the interrogation room.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

Rehearsal dates: 7th - 11th March
Shoot dates: 14th - 18th March

Expenses paid - Acommmodation (if you live outside of York), food and transport

David Tate

A wealthy and successful politician. He is a cruel and controlling father and husband. In the interview he comes across as narcissistic, manipulative and over-confident that he is above the law.
