Film & TV Teacher Needed for Saturday African/Caribbean Culture Classes

We are looking for a African or Caribbean local film-maker to work with our students for a new African and Caribbean cultural Performing Arts school. Must be dedicated and able to create content that is culturally sound and community based.
(Location in Wembley or Brixton)
You will need to be available on Saturday mornings, devising, writing and shooting short films, but most of the lesson plan will be pre planned for you.
You will be leading workshops with children from 10 -14 and 15 - 19 years creating material that can ultimately be screened in a local cinema, as well as entered into film festivals worldwide.
Avid or Premier Pro Editing skills required.
You must have some experience working with children and young people, and have a strong background making short films with cultural and community significance.
Fully paid with Travel expenses paid for.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Please submit a showreel or short film project if you have one.
Please note that due to the cultural importance of the classes, we ask that all applicants are from the African and Caribbean community.
Paid - £20 per hour
