I have been working as a supporting artiste for five years now, firstly in the romcom ''Oliver Rocket'' and then the documentary ''The Messiah: Handel's Enduring Legacy.'' This was followed by a 'featured extra' role in the BBC Tudor drama ''Wolf Hall'' and a 'walk-on' role as Lord Chatterley's Therapist in the BBC's adaptation of ''Lady Chatterley's Lover.''
My first speaking role was in the short film ''The Halo Effect'' in which i took the lead role as a murderous religious cult leader (See 'Video' above) and my first stage roles have been as King Verence in Terry Pratchett's "Wyrd Sisters", as Captain Carter in "Pride & Prejudice" and Codename Lazar in ''Plenty.''
I have appeared in the last 2 series of Poldark firstly as an MP and in the last series as a judge.

I play guitar - classical, acoustic and electric and keyboards - piano, organ and synths. I play and compose mostly classical now but I am still very interested in rock. I am currently completing my first classical album and a rock album. My classical style is 'contemporary classical' which I describe as 'tonal with 20th. century developments'. My rock album I describe as 'angst-ridden and apocalyptic' in a range from heavy rock to acoustic via pop, electronic and classical.

I have a teaching qualification the Cert.Ed. in Adult & F.E. in which my specialist subject was music and I give individual guitar lessons and have given group lessons in music theory (in which I have ABRSM Grade 8) and history.

I have recently turned my attention to film music and I am composing a piece entitled 'Music for an Imaginary Film' a line I am pursuing although I'm not used to 'working to a brief.'

I am ambitious for my music and confident that I can achieve success.
