Hi I'm Rimu Donovan a New Zealand actor Nominated at 2020 Seoul Webfest category as 'Best Rising Star', and just completed,
Atlantic Acting School summer intensive from New York via Zoom.
I have Indi feature film credits on IMBD from New Zealand and USA. I am a dedicated and hard working actor with a strong background in the theatre, Directors and actor always want to work with me again and do.
The Hole’ music Video ‘Makeshifts Parachutes’, as lead actors. Playing in ‘kura’ due for release, TVNZ web series. playing various leads in ‘Naughty Bits’ web series comedy sketches.
I play a main character in a feature film that premiered in Dunedin in September 2014, called "A Motel and a Hard Place". I have studied theater at university of otago, and have been in a number of performances.
Other roles i have played are, in a short film called 'there is no gold here', it was filmed on location in central Otago, it is a gold mining western. Also "rarotimu" a Maori mythological movement devised theater.
I have a BA in History and Media studies. I am interested in all aspects of performance and production. I would be interested in any oportunity to perform, and i enjoy working with actors and take direction well.
