Started acting as a child in primary school, then secondary school and onto into my working life.
Have spent most of my life either in front of the camera or behind it as a stills photographer or motion cameraman. Working both sides helps immensely for either acting or teaching new actors or models. My work has encompassed many years and countries, both on stage and on the small screen and the silver screen.
Positons acted have been as extra (background talent), featured extra, support cast, cast, in stage plays, tv dramas, tele-features, short films and major motion pictures. During the 90s i was a common face on NZ tv dramas, US motion pictures, and many TVC's (most of my TVC experience though has been for Australian television).
Also an extensive amount working in NZ as stunt performer or stunt driver or body double stuntman.

started singing in choirs from age 10, then was classically trained and joined Schola Cantorum in dunedin (mass choral), later joined a church band singing and playing piano (to grade 5), after leaving church i played keys and sang in a covers band in the 80s, shortly after i cut my little finger off by accident - but can still play piano or keys but not as well as before... carried on singing in different bands in the 80s and 90s, and in the early 2000s i started as audio engineer for several different bands and for small concerts. Can mix and record any band up to 32 pieces and can still sing well (most styles) and with a push and a bit of re-training and practice will still play the keyboards .... claim to fame - wrote one song "Speed Freaks" whilst playing in Sydney early 80s and this rose to number 17 on the charts...
