Lead roles, extra & musician in music videos. Actor & Continuity Director. Extra in pub/crowd scenes, rode a motorbike, got hit by a car, fell off a roof etc. Stunt training at Havoc Stunts. I've also produced, directed, edited & done the camera work for a few music videos.

Over 30 years experience in sound engineering - it's my passion. I have a production company & I've worked with most of the top Aussie bands from the 70's 80's & 90's as well as a number of US & UK artists. I have done a lot of recording & write my own songs but my passion is creating the best possible production.
My taste in music is fairly broad - as long as it is well played & well structured. All the variations & fusions of Rock, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Funk, Country Rock - whatever. Electronics Engineer (B.Sc.) so I can fix almost anything. I play Bass in a band, I can also play Keys & Guitar but not very well - digital recording makes it very easy to overdub all the mistakes when I'm recording my original stuff.
2 of the mp3's attached are only rough demos & so are examples of what I can do with only Gaffa tape & a bit of string. The JB medley video is entirely my own work & was put together from bits & pieces with the audio track done in the studio & so it required a lot of editing - please note the spot-on audio/video sync. I know my way around a set so I can jump in almost anywhere.

Owner of production company "Solid Rock Productions" which I finally got around to registering in 1982. Produced music video clips from writing the songs through to the final edit. Years of stage & tour managing. I've been an extra many times, I enjoy doing it & enjoy the challenge it presents filling the role. I've done the sound & lighting production in many video clips as well as playing lead roles, bit parts & doing 'interviews'. I'm an experienced Sound & Continuity Director, I am also very good at editing, both film & scripts - I'm a very meticulous editor. Short notice stuff is OK, as long as I'm not committed to something else & I get 24 Hrs notice.

"Been there, done that" would be the most succinct description. Being a single Dad limited my early work opportunities so I found that starting my own company & sub-contracting my skills & talents was the best way to get regular work (& a good income) but still get to spend quality time with my son (even changing nappies is quality time). I'm a quick learner with a high IQ (ex-Mensa) so I never had any trouble picking up jobs, especially creative ones. I've been thru' the good times & some pretty horrific ones too so I've learned to be very patient & understanding & I get on very well with people. I consider having respect, consideration & empathy for others is very important & this has allowed me to make the most of every opportunity while working as either the leader or a member of a team.
