Influences: Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Foy Vance, Enrique Iglesias
I have been singing professionally full-time and part-time over the last 10 years on and off. I have been involved in various plans with different people to pursue my musical endeavours within the music industry, from a record label in Watford, to private investors, I have always looked to be the best I can be, whilst being true to who I am as a musician and singer.
I have been a covers singer for just over 10 years, performing with the guitar, on my own and with a couple of different bands. I previously also worked as a guitar tutor for a number of years as guitar is an instrument I have always played and been passionate about playing very well. I have written two albums worth of music which is all recorded professionally and made into albums which I have sold at gigs over the last few years. I also have written over a hundred further songs which aren't currently recorded professionally. This is simply down to not being financially viable at the time. I continue to write most days and produce music which I would consider reflects me as a singer as well as trying to keep up with the latest trends and musical styles.
I have always sung swing music from the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to name a few, with the most recent artist that I follow being Michael Bublé.
I currently sing professionally full-time as a Michael Bublé Tribute singer and I have now reached the time where I am releasing myself as a swing singer under my own name of Tom Cary.
Previously I have worked with Radio 2 and 'Children In Need' back in 2012, which involved my music being put to a video of theirs which featured on prime-time television across screen nationwide.
I am looking for management who are serious and established and can bring something definite to the table with regards to pursuing my music career to the maximum I can.
